IMG_20140722_082021

It’s that time again, for my monthly meal plan post.

Now that it’s officially fall, bye bye summer, it’s time for those warm comfy meals that just warm you to your bones.

Here’s what we are having in October:

1. CP Chicken Chili
2. Take out night – our oldest little has been requesting pizza a lot this night lol
3. Baked Chicken w/baked taters & a veg of some kind
4. Left over night – sometimes you just need to take out what’s left in the fridge & have a little bite of each for dinner
5. It’s Sunday & football day so that means something will find it’s way to the smoker, maybe some ribs would be nice
6. CP Mac & Cheese w/ham
7. Left overs – gotta clean out the fridge lol
8. Meatloaf w/salad & a veg
9. Take out night
10. Sausages twice baked taters – haven’t had these in a while they are so good & a veg
11. Left overs again
12. Something will be in the smoker today maybe a chicken!!!!
13. Meatball calzones & a salad
14. Cheesy Baked Ziti & salad
15. Left overs
16. Take out
17. Potato Soup
18. Cheddar Corn Chowder – I love this & make it several times during the winter months it’s so warm & filling & yummy
19. Smoked Turkey
20. Left overs
21. Sloppy joes – another great meal when it’s chilly out
22. Pork chops w/a salad & veg
23. Take out
24. Chicken wraps
25. Left overs
26. I know this is a Sunday/football day but I’m thinking maybe a Ham dinner….another fav of mine
27. Beef Tacos
28. Left overs
29. Homemade Chicken Nuggets – I’ve never made these before but they don’t seem that hard to make, we’ll be having a salad & veg with this
30. Take out
31. Lasagna – tonight’s Halloween night so I thought I’d make this ahead of time, freeze it so that’s all I’ll need to do is pop it in the oven & have it either before we go out trick or treating or when we get home

So that’s it for October. I hope you like what I’ve planned & if you don’t, like I tell my hubby “if you don’t like it make your own” lol….All kidding aside I do hope you like these posts.

If there is something you like to make, please feel free to leave your recipe in the comments.

Enjoy….
