Share a recipe – Slow Cooker Chili

So during these cold winter days, I like to have something warm to have for dinner.  This recipe is so easy & only takes a few minutes to put together.  The hardest part is browning the meat.

Depending on what’s on sale, I will make this chili with either ground beef, chicken, or turkey.  Here’s the recipe (you can add everything that I have listed or you can add whatever you have in your pantry have fun with it):

Ingredients:

1 lb ground beef, chicken, or turkey

1 can of corn

1 can of black beans

1 can of red beans

1 can of white beans

1 can of baked beans with chili sauce

2 – 3 tbs taco seasoning mix, separated (i make my own or you can use the packets from the store)

shredded cheese to your liking

sour cream to your liking

Directions:

Brown ground meat

add 1 tbs taco seasoning mix to meat

add browned meat to slow cooker

add corn & baked beans to slow cooker

drain & rinse black beans, red beans, & white beans & add them to slow cooker

add 1 – 2 tbs taco seasoning mix (depending on your taste) to slow cooker

cook 4 hours on high or 8 hours on low

dish into bowl & top with sour cream & cheese if you like

Hope you enjoy this & stay warm,

The Flip Flop Farm Girl….
